The “Calming Education” process seeks to attract attention and encourage a calm reflection on education. Educational dialogue, especially at the present time, is an end in itself. Calm is a condition for generating trust on which to build a discourse capable of involving and mobilizing the education system.

Dear readers, the book “Calming Education. Words for action”, is now available and you can download it for free from this link. The book is the result of immense collective work over two years (2016-2018). in which hundreds of parents, teachers, students and agents of the sector have participated. A lively, open and participatory debate on the challenges of education in our country that can undoubtedly enrich your vision of the current situation of education in Spain and the strategic challenges we face. The aim of the “Calming Education” process has been educational dialogue seen as an end in itself. From the Open Education Association we have tried to promote a calm debate, which would address the concerns of broad sectors of society and collect the opinions of people involved in the educational world. 
The book fulfills AEA’s ambition to widen the space of educational debate not only to analyze the necessary changes but also to offer calm and practical help to those in our country who are determined to lead the necessary transformation and innovate in their schools and educational systems.
